Tuần nay chúng ta nghe được hàng loạt tin đồn về tựa game Call of Duty của năm 2020. Theo các tin đầu cho thấy nó sẽ là bản Black Ops reboot, tương tự Call of Duty: Modern Warfare năm ngoái. Nhưng theo thông tin được đưa ra thì game này sẽ không có tên Black Ops, mà là Call of Duty: Vietnam. Dưới đây là tổng hợp những tin đồn trong các ngày vừa qua.

Bản Call of Duty 2020 này khả năng sẽ liên quan đến thế giới Black Ops, nhưng sẽ không trực tiếp mang tên đó. Game được cho sẽ diễn ra trong Chiến Tranh Lạnh bao gồm Chiến Tranh Việt Nam, và một trong những cái tên tin đồn của game sẽ là Call of Duty: Vietnam. Tryearch được cho sẽ chịu trách nhiệm chính cho phần này, với hỗ trợ từ Sledgehammer Games và Raven Software.

Các tin đồn tuần này được khởi xướng bằng video mới của YouTuber TheGamingRevolution. Video này đính chính lại vài thông tin mà anh đưa ra về bản reboot Black Ops cùng các nguồn tin mới. Theo website fan CoD Charlie Intel cho hay vài thông tin trong video đúng với những gì họ nghe được từ nguồn tin riêng của mình.

Mới đây, theo tin từ báo New York Times, cụ thể là từ Jason Schreier trong ngành, cựu nhân viên Kotaku, cho biết Call of Duty vẫn sẽ tiếp tục lịch trình ra mắt trong năm 2020, dù nguy cơ bị trì hoãn do Covid-19, game đánh bài đổi thưởng . Tuy không liên quan trực tiếp đến Call of Duty, nhưng báo cũng đưa tin rằng nhiều nhà phát triển và phát hành quyết định “cắt giảm quy mô chứ không trì hoãn game của mình”.

Schreier chia sẻ thêm trên Twitter rằng game mới, sẽ nói về Chiến Tranh Lạnh và cuộc chiến ở Việt Nam. Anh nói Call of Duty: Vietnam được cân nhắc là cái tên tiềm năng của phần này.

Trong quá khứ, Activision thường công bố game Call of Duty mới vào thời điểm này của năm, nhưng chúng ta không thể biết kế hoạch marketing năm nay sẽ ra sao trong đại dịch Covid-19 này. Tất nhiên, kế hoạch về các game chưa được công bố có thể sẽ thay đổi, ngay cả khi những tin đưa ra dựa trên thông tin chính xác.
